These were real hikers
Good mood and courage before the trip.
Very nice to meet so many inspiring people in such a pleasant job. People just go for it. Some are well prepared for the trip, have the right equipment, good clothes and shoes. While others have too little clothing, the wrong type of clothes and shoes. And often without food and drink, and then only wearing light sneakers, thin workout clothes and last but not least the latest and most expensive mobile phone in hand..
On the other hand, these guys in the pictures had everything in order and were both built and rigged for such a trip. In addition, they were out in tents in snowy weather. Bathed in ice water. And I think it was awesome.
Everything set up for a good night's sleep
When being tough is the only choice you have. And you're smart enough to set yourself up for the situation.
Good guys on a trip, togetherness, laughter and the same goal.
